For the Taco Filling:
- ๐ฅฉ 1 lb ground beef
- ๐ฎ 1 packet taco seasoning
- ๐ง 1/2 cup water
For the Cupcakes:
- ๐ต️ 24 wonton wrappers
- ๐ง 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
- ๐ 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- ๐ฅ 1/2 cup guacamole (optional)
- ๐ 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- ๐ 1/4 cup sour cream
- ๐ถ️ 1/2 cup salsa
Step 1: Assemble the Taco Cupcakes
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 12-cup muffin tin and press one wonton wrapper into each cup.
- Press another wonton wrapper on top and repeat the layers of meat and cheese.
Step 2: Bake the Taco Cupcakes
- Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes or until crispy and golden brown. I cook them for 18 minutes in my gas oven but I think it was a tad too long.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before removing from the tin.
Step 3: Add Toppings & Serve
- Top each taco cupcake with diced tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, and cilantro.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
