This beautiful and very elegant card has been created using the Detailed Dogwood Cling Stamp Set and the Notes of Nature Cling Stamp set.

The dogwood flowers and branches stamp are perfect to color using the Stampin' Blends or coloured pencils. Pair these images with any of your favourite stamp sentiments to customize the message for any occasion.

Some of these images can also be cut out using the coordinating Petal Park Builder Punch (item 160576, sold separately) or the Best Label Punch (item 158885, sold separately).

Measurements:

Pecan Pie card stock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” card base (score/fold to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”), 2” x 4" - layer 2 - centre strip to be embossed

Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Paper:

Layer 1: 4” x 5 1/4” of the ruled lines print

Layer 3: cut (2) pieces 2 1/4”x 1 7/8” of the black and pecan pie floral print

Layer 4: 2 1/2” x 3 1/4” of the distressed type print - flat without gold flecks print

Basic White card stock: 4” x 4” - for dogwood

Crumb Cake card stock: scrap for sentiment

Linen Thread: 16” piece

Instructions:

Emboss the 2” x 4” piece of Pecan Pie using the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder.
Distress ink the edges of each of the cut DSP pieces and the embossed Pecan Pie 2” x 4” strip by running the edges across the Pecan Pie ink pad. The Pecan Pie embossed strip can also be pulled lightly across the pad to ink the raised embossed areas. Using Paper Snips, rough the edges as well by scraping the blade along the edges.
Adhere Layer 1 – Pecan Pie Nature’s Sweetness ruled lines print.
Adhere Layer 2 – 2” x 4” embossed Pecan Pie card stock strip, horizontally at centre of card.
Layer 3 – 2 pieces of 2 1/4” x 1 7/8” black and pecan pie floral print.
Adhere 1 piece to the upper left of card, down 1/2” from top edge of base card and in 1/4” to the right of the base card edge.
Adhere 1 piece to the lower right of card, up 1/2” from bottom edge of card base and in 1/4” to the left of the card base. Set layered base card aside.
Layer 4 – stamp the 2 1/2” x 3 1/4” distressed type print with the Notes of Nature grid stamp, field notes stamp and ink splotches stamp using Pecan Pie ink.
Stamp the Dogwood image in Pecan Pie ink onto the 4” x 4” piece of Basic White card stock.
Color with Stampin’ Blends, as shown. Fussy cut the image.
Stamp the sentiment from Notes of Nature stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and die cut using the Everyday Details smallest rectangle die (2 1/4”x 7/8”).
Adhere Layer 4 to the centre of the card base over all previously placed layers.
Twist the Linen Thread into swirls and knot. Adhere in place using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the Dogwood image on top of the Linen Thread swirls using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Adhere the sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Finish by adding 5 Petal Pink Loose Frosted Dots - 1 large, 2 medium, 2 small.
