Cottage Rose With Deepest Sympathy

This subtle and calming Sympathy card conveys heartfelt condolences to a friend or family member.  The colors, Petal Pink and Smoky Slate are the perfect combination.

Measurements:

Smokey Slate card stock: 4 ¼ “x 8 ½”
Basic White card stock: scrap
Petal Pink card stock: 2 ½” x 4” (2); 4” x 5 ¼ “(1)
Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper (or similar): 3 ¾ ” x 2 ¼ “ and 3 ¾ ” x 5 “

Instructions:

1. Cut a piece of Smokey Slate card stock 4 ¼ “x 8 ½ “. Score at 5 ½”. Cut off half of one of the sides – so cut at 2 ¾”.
2. Cut two pieces of Petal Pink card stock at 4” x 2 ½” and adhere to left side of front of card and piece you cut off front of card. 
3. Cut one piece of Petal Pink card stock at 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere to inside of card.
4. Cut two pieces of Abigail Rose DSP 3 ¾” x 2 ¼” and adhere to the card pieces in step 2. 
5. Cut one piece of Abigail Rose DSP 3 ¾ “x 5” and adhere to inside of card.
6. Adhere the piece you cut off the front of the card to the card perpendicularly as show.
7. Die cut two Deckled Rectangles out of Petal Pink and one smaller one out of Basic White. Stamp the sentiment in Smokey Slate ink on Basic White rectangle. Adhere rectangles together as shown.
8. Stamp the large rose from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Smokey Slate ink onto a scrap of Basic White card stock. Die cut with Cottage Flower dies. Color the rose with Petal Pink Stampin Blends.
9. Adhere rectangles from step 7 to front of card as shown with Stampin' Dimensionals. Adhere rose to front of card as shown with Stampin' Dimensionals.
10. Adhere the Opal Round embellishments to the front of the card.
11. Cut a 4” x 2 ¾” piece of Basic White and adhere to inside of card for your message or an additional sentiment.
