Scalloped Contours Dies
Measurements:
Balmy Blue card stock: 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”Old Olive card stock: 4” x 5 1/4”
Mango Melody card stock: scraps for scallop circle and flowers
So Saffron card stock: scraps for circle and flowers
Thick White card stock: scraps for scallop rectangle
Basic White card stock: 4” x 5-1/4”
Window Sheet: 2 3/4” x 4”
Designer Series Paper of your choice: 3 3/4” x 5”, turtle image
Instructions:
- Glue the Old Olive cardstock piece to the center front of the card base.
- Glue the DSP to the center of the Old Olive cardstock.
- Cut a rectangle using Thick White cardstock and a scalloped contours die.
- Cut a rectangle out of the center of the scalloped rectangle using a die from the Stitched Dies. NOTE: the scalloped rectangle and straight edge rectangle can be cut at the same time.
- Apply Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the frame around the outside of the straight edge rectangle on all sides. Place the Window Sheet piece over the back of the frame, covering the open area in the center completely. Apply Foam Adhesive Strips over the Window Sheet bordering the center rectangle window, making sure there are no open areas between the adhesive strips. Remove the Tear & Tape Adhesive protective coverings from the left, right and bottom. Glue the scallop frame to the front of the card in the center.
- Die cut small flowers from Mango Melody and So Saffron card stock. Color the centers of the largest flowers with Stampin’ Blend or marker. Drop the flowers into the top of the scallop shaker box, making sure that the front of the pieces are facing forward. Add a pinch or two of the Loose Daisy Embellishments into the shaker box. Remove the Tear & Tape Adhesive protective covering at the top of the shaker box and press down to close the box completely.
- Stamp the So Saffron circle with sentiment of your choice in Tuxedo Memento ink. Glue the circle to the center of the Mango Melody scallop circle cardstock piece. Mount to the front of the card base on the right center of the frame using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
- Mount a DSP turtle in the bottom left corner of the scallop frame using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
- Glue a small Glossy Dot to the center of the turtle’s flower. Add two more Glossy Dots randomly to the front of the card.
- Glue a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside back of the card base.
