Basic White cardstock: scrap for stamping/die cutting
Favored Floral DSP (Fresh Freesia hexagon/diamond pattern): 2” x 4”
Linen Thread: approx. 6”
Woven Ribbon: approx. 8”
Instructions:
1. Fold the Crumb Cake cardstock in half to create the card base.
2. Using the group of 4 small flowers stamp from the Two-Tone Flora set and Blackberry Bliss ink, stamp all over the Blackberry Bliss cardstock.
3. Glue the Fresh Freesia DSP to the Blackberry Bliss cardstock (centered approx. ½” from the top, bottom and left side). Wrap the Woven Ribbon around this cardstock/DSP piece (secure it with some Stampin’ Seal if you need to). Tie the Linen Thread around the ribbon ends. The ribbon ends will stick out past the DSP. Trim the ribbon ends and the Linen Thread ends.
NOTE: in the sample, the Linen Thread is tied in a bow. If you struggle with bows or just aren’t feeling it, tie a knot!
4. Stick the piece you just made to the Crumb Cake card layer, along the left-hand side, leaving approx. ⅛” on the side, top & bottom. Stick the Crumb Cake layer to the Crumb Cake card base.
5. On the scrap of Basic White cardstock, stamp the following:
a. Largest Flower from Two-Tone Flora (solid): Fresh Freesia
b. Largest Flower from Two-Tone Flora (detail): Blackberry Bliss
c. Branches from Two-Tone Flora: Soft Sea Foam
6. Die cut out the flower and branch with the Two-Tone Flora dies. Then layer them together so the branch/leaves stick out from the bottom left of the flower. Secure them together with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then stick the flower on the DSP over the ribbon (toward the left edge of the card).
7. With Blackberry Bliss ink, stamp “for you” from the Country Bouquet set on the Fresh Freesia DSP just under the ribbon & flower.
8. Finish the card with some Classic Matte Dots. See the picture for placement.
