Week 12 of my 12 Weeks of Christmas

Place Setting Gift Box

Here are the products and measurements I used:


Supplies

Stamp set: Framed & Festive (160888)

Cardstock and DSP: Santa Express Memories & More Card Pack (159595), Evening Evergreen (155574), Petal Pink (146985)

Ink: Petal Pink (147108)

Dies: Happy Forest (158951), Alphabest Bundle (158886), Snowman Magic Bundle (Retired) (159818) or use a similar bundle

Tools: Stampin' Trimmer (152392)

Miscellaneous: Evening Evergreen ribbon (155573), Festive Perls (159963), Wink of Stella (141897), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)


Measurements

Evening Evergreen cardstock8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"

Petal Pink cardstock: 6" x 6", scraps for letter backgrounds and trees

Christmas DSP: 1 piece - 3 1/8" x 3 1/8" and 1 piece - 5 1/4" x 2"


Instructions

  1. Take the large piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock and fold in half at 4 1/4".
  2. Line up the left side of the card base in your Paper Trimmer at 4 1/2" and cut down to the 2" mark.
  3. Now move the card base over to the 2 1/2" mark and cut down to 2".
  4. Turn the card base and cut out the 2" centre square (as shown)
  5. Adhere the large piece of DSP to the lower half of the card front.
  6. From the scraps of Pink Petal cardstock and the tall tree from the Snowman Magic dies, cut out 2 large trees. Cut out 1 small tree using the Happy Forest dies.
  7. Adhere trees to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  8. Add Wink of Stella to the trees.
  9. From the scraps of Petal Pink cardstock, stamp your name or sentiment using the Alphabest stamp set and punch each letter out using the punch from the Alphabest Bundle.
  10. Adhere the letters to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  11. Add three Festive Pearls to the card front.

1. Now for the small box - take the large piece of Petal Pink cardstock and score and burnish on all sides at 2".
2. Cut along score lines marked in red on each of the corners (as shown)
3. Add Multipurpose Liquid Glue to each corner of the box.  Fold corners in and adhere together to make the box.
4. On the 3 1/8″ x 3 1/8″ piece of Christmas DSP, score and burnish at 1/2″ on all sides.
5. Cut into the score lines marked in red on each of the corners (as shown)
6. Using Petal Pink ink and the sentiment from the Framed and Festive stamp set, stamp all over the box section.
7. Add Multipurpose Liquid Glue to each corner of the box. Fold corners in and adhere together to create the lid.
8.Tie a bow using the Evening Evergreen ribbon and adhere to the top of the box.
