Week 2 of my 12 Weeks of Christmas

 This week I'm using one of my favourite bundles from the July-December Mini Catalogue. It's the Sweet Gingerbread Bundle.  I love that it has all the pieces to complete a house including a smoke cloud for your sentiment.  The fonts are also super cute. 

Sweet Gingerbread Bundle

Here are the products and measurements I used:

Measurements 

Soft Suede cardstock: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"Evening Evergreen cardstock: 3 3/4" x 5" and scrap for the house evestroughBasic White cardstock: 2" x 5" for the snow and scraps for the smoke cloud, trees and house.

Instructions

1. Fold the Soft Suede cardstock on the fold line and burnish.
2. Emboss the Evening Evergreen cardstock by placing the cardstock, short side up, into the Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder.  Run it through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.
3. Adhere the Evening Evergreen embossed piece onto the card base.
4. Stamp the house in Soft Succulent ink onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock.
5. Stamp the door frame on the house using Real Red ink.
6. Stamp the windows into the window frames using Evening Evergreen ink.
7. Cut out the house using the house die from the Gingerbread House dies.
8. Stamp two trees in Evening Evergreen ink and one in Soft Succulent ink onto a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock.
9. Cut out the trees using the tree dies.
10. Cut out the smoke cloud using a scrap of Basic White cardstock and stamp the sentiment in the centre with Evening Evergreen ink.
11. Cut out the snow using the 2" x 5" piece Basic White cardstock and the snow die.
12. Add the snow piece onto the Evening Evergreen piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
13. Add Stampin' Dimensionals to the backside of the house, trees and smoke cloud.
14. Adhere to the front of the card as shown in the photo above.
15. Cut the eavestrough from the Evening Evergreen cardstock scrap and adhere to the top of the house to finish off the card.
