Week 1 of my 12 Weeks of Christmas

Yay! It's that time of the year again.  It's my 12 Weeks of Christmas project tutorials to help you get ready for the Holiday season.  There will be cards, 3D projects plus some tags and bags.
There'll be projects for every crafter.

Leaves of Holly

Here are the products and measurements I used:

Measurements

Thick Basic White cardstock: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Pool Party cardstock: 4" x 5 1/4"
Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper: 5 1/4" x 1 1/2"
Basic White cardstock: scraps for label and snowflake
White Crinkled Seam Binding: 6"

Instructions

  1. Fold the Thick Basic White cardstock at 4 1/4" and burnish.
  2. Emboss the Pool Party cardstock by placing the cardstock lengthwise into the Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder.  Run it through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.
  3. Adhere the Pool Party embossed piece onto the card base so the pattern is lengthwise.
  4. Using the Basic White scraps, cut out the label dies from the Holly Berry Dies.
  5. Stamp your sentiment in Pool Party ink using one of the sentiments from the Leaves of Holly Stamp Set.
  6. Using the Snowflake die from Celebrations Tag Dies, cut out a snowflake using a scrap of Basic White cardstock.
  7. Adhere the strip of DSP onto the card base.
  8. Add the stamped label and snowflake onto the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  9. To finish off the card, add 3 Opal Rounds.

I hope you enjoyed the first week of my 12 Weeks of Christmas.
Enjoy your week and see you next time.

Cheers,
Sharon xoxo
