Week 5 of my 12 Weeks of Christmas


Pinecones and fir boughs provide the setting for our Merry Christmas Pinecones card this week.  Add Snowfall Puffy Accents, Soft Succulent ribbon and gold trim and you have the perfect card to say Merry Christmas to your loved ones!

Merry Christmas Pinecones

Here are the measurements I used:

Cardstock and Specialty Paper: Soft Succulent (155776), Crumb Cake (129053), Basic White (159276), Soft Seafoam (146988), Glimmer Specialty Paper (159537)
Stamp Pads: Soft Succulent (155778)
Embossing Folders: Wintry 3D (155433)
Tools: Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine (149653), Heat Tool (129053), 
Paper Snips Scissors (103579)

Measurements
Sof Succulent cardstock: 2 pieces - 1 piece 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4" 
and 1 piece 4" x 5 1/4"
Basic White cardstock: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and scraps for the sentiment and pine cones
Soft Seafood cardstock: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Crumb Cake: scraps for pinecones
Gold Specialty Glimmer Paper: scraps for stars

Instructions
  1. Fold the large piece of Soft Succulent cardstock on the scoreline and burnish.
  2. Run the large piece of Soft Succulent cardstock through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine using the largest rectangle from the Scalloped Contours dies. Using the second largest die from the Scalloped Contours dies, cut the centre out of the above piece.
  3. Take the piece cut from the centre and run it through the Cut and Emboss Machine using the fir Wintry 3D embossing folder.  Adhere to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  4. Adhere the Scalloped Contours rectangle to the card front using the Foam Adhesive Strips.
  5. Put the large piece of Basic White cardstock together with the solid die from the Christmas Pinecone dies set and run through the Cut and Emboss Machine.  Do the same with the Soft Sea Foam cardstock but using the other die from the set.
  6. Using the scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock, cut 2 solid large and 3 solid small pinecones.
  7. Using the scrap of Basic White cardstock, cut 2 large and 3 small pinecones.
  8. Adhere the Soft Seafoam boughs on top of the Basic White boughs.
  9. Adhere the Basic White pinecones on top of the Crumb cake pinecones.
  10. Apply Snowfall Accents paint to the pinecones and boughs, then set with the Heat Tool.
  11. Adhere boughs and pinecones to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  12. Using the stars die, cut 3 stars from the Gold Specialty Glimmer paper. Adhere to the leaves, as shown.
  13. Tie the Soft Succulent Ribbon and the gold Simply Elegant Trim together into a bow and adhere to the left of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  14. Stamp the Merry sentiment onto a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock using Soft Succulent ink and adhere to the right of the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
