Measurements:

• Coastal Cabana: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”; 1” x 3 ½”, ¼’ x 4”

• Sahara Sand: 3 ¾” x 5”; ¾” x 4”

• Watercolor Paper: 3 ½” x 4 ¾”

• Basic White: 4” x 5 ¼” (inside)

• Linen Thread: 16”

Instructions:

1. Fold card base in half at score line.

2. Place watercolor paper into Stamparatus and using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp the Palm Trees scene. You may need to stamp more than once to get a good image on the watercolor paper. Use heat tool to heat set the ink.

3. Take an acrylic block and press a corner of the block into the Coastal Cabana ink. Squeeze a small amount of water from the water brush with the smallest point into the center of the block. Moving some of the water into the ink, pick up ink and color the water portion of the scene. Use a light hand so you do not get too much water or too heavy of color. Clean ink off of block.

4. Repeat process of placing ink on block and coloring scene using Balmy Blue ink for the sky. Clean ink off block.

5. Repeat process using Sahara Sand ink for the beach and mound.

6. Repeat the process using Pear Pizzazz ink and lightly color the mound to give it a two-tone look.

7. Repeat the process using Soft Succulent ink and lightly color the palm fronds.

8. Wrap the watercolor paper with the linen thread near the bottom and tie in a square knot on the right side.

9. Attach watercolor piece to Sahara Sand piece and then attach both to the Coastal Cabana card front.

10. Use the embossing buddy on the 1” x 3 ½” Coastal Cabana piece. Stamp “HEY” and “lookin’ good” using VersaMark ink. Heat emboss using white embossing powder. Cut each word out into small rectangles. Using Dimensionals, attach words to front of card, switching the lookin’ and good so it reads “good lookin’”.

11. Emboss the ¾” x 4” Sahara Sand piece with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder. Attach the ¼” x 4” Coastal Cabana piece to the back of the embossed Sahara Sand piece leaving 1/8” exposed at the top. Attach to 4” x 5 ¼” Basic White piece.

12. Using Coastal Cabana ink, stamp “love you to the beach and back” on the Basic White piece.

13. Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp pelican on the left just above the Coastal Cabana/Sahara Sand piece and the seashells on the right side.

14. Color using the water painters and inks as desired.

15. Attach Basic White piece to inside of card.
