Toast in the New Year 202

Measurements:

 

• Thick Basic White CS: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”, 1-1/8” x 2-3/4”,  3-1/2” x 4-1/4”, and 3-13/16” x 5-1/16”
• Basic Black CS: 4” x 5-1/4 and 3/4” x 3-3/16”

 

Instructions:

 

1. Score a 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” piece of Thick White CS at 4-1/4”; fold to create a card base.
2. Stamp 3-13/16” x 5-1/16” piece of Thick White CS with circle images in Bumblebee ink.  Add Wink of Stella® Clear Glitter shading to the right edge of each stamped circleAdd texture to the card front with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  Glue to a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Basic Black CS. Mount to the center front of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
3. Trim the left end of the 3/4” x 3-3/16” Basic Black CS strip and the 1-1/8” x 2-3/4” Thick White CS strip into a banner shape.  Glue the black strip to the front of the card base in the bottom right corner 1/4” from the bottom edge.  Stamp the white strip with sentiment in Memento Black ink.  Glue to the bottom right corner 1/2” from the bottom edge over the black strip.
4. Stamp two champagne glasses on the 3-1/2” x 4-1/4” piece of Thick White CS as follows: Load large oval stamp with Gray Granite ink with one end off the edge 1/4” to create a flat top; stamp off twice before stamping on the cardstock. Repeat for second glass.  Add Gray Granite ink to the smaller rectangle stamp to create a 1/8” x 1-1/8” glass stem, once again stamping off twice before stamping on the cardstock at the bottom of the large oval. Repeat for the second glass.  Load the left 3/4” end of the thin oval stamp with Gray Granite ink, stamp off twice and stamp at the bottom of the glass stem overlapping about 1/4” on the top.  Clean and dry the stamp. Load the right 3/4” of the thin oval stamp with Gray Granite ink, stamp off twice.  Stamp on the right side of the existing thin oval on the left to finish the bottom of the glass. Try not to overlap the left and right edges. Repeat for second glass. Color both champagne glasses with Light and Dark So Saffron Stampin’ Blends. Trim out the glasses with Paper Snips.Add Wink of Stella® Clear Glitter shading to each glass.  Mount to the front of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
5. Tie a 5” piece of Gold Simply Elegant Trim into a bow; mount to the top of the glass stem with a Mini Glue Dot. Repeat for second glass.  
6. Stamp the bottom right inside corner of the card base with one large and three small circle images to match the front of the card in Bumblebee ink.  Add Wink of Stella® Clear Glitter shading to the right side of each stamped circle. Stamp “Happy New Year’s” in the middle of the large circle in Memento Black ink. 
7. Finish the card by adding Gold Genial Gems above each of the glass rim tops.
