Sand & Sea Happy Birthday
Don’t you think the shimmer paint makes the shell look so real.
Almost like I picked the shell off the beach myself.
Blending Brushes from Stampin’Up! are a must to all crafters.
So easy to use. They definitely make my live easier when I use them .
And the shimmer that the shimmer paint gives to the card.
It’s such a beautiful effect on this card. Who needs bling. Right!
Here’s the instructions for ya.
Cutting Instructions
Cardstock
Basic White Thick 5 ½” X 8 ½” Card base
Whisper White 5 1/2”x 4 1/4”
Whisper White 3 3/4” x 3/4” for Sentiment
Sand and Sea DSP 4” x 5 ¼” Card front
Seaside Spray 3 ½ x 4 ½ ” Card front
Assembly Instructions
Card base
1. Fold the card base in half and burnish with your bone folder.
2. Adhere the piece of Sand and Sea DSP to the card front.
3. Take the piece of Seaside Spray cardstock and insert it into the Seashells 3D embossing folder. Run it through your cut and emboss machine.
4. Take a Blending Brush, the Frost White Shimmer Paint and your Silicone craft sheet. Place a drop or two onto your Silicone craft sheet. Dip the brush into the Shimmer Paint and gently rub across the embossed piece of Seaside Spray cardstock, adding as much Shimmer Paint as desired.
5. Cut a piece of white twine about 18-20” long. Turn the piece of Seaside Spray cardstock over. With a dimensional you want to Secure an end of the twine. Wrap the twine around the card stock a couple of time and secure the end piece with another dimensional. Add more dimensionals to the back of this piece and Adhere to the card front.
6.Take the Whisper White card stock, place the Seaside Seashells die on top and run through your Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine. Now take the Seashell embossing folder, line up the images with the die cut piece and run it through the Stampin Cut and Emboss machine. You will need to fussy cut the shell of you choosing.positioning it on the shell shape.
7. Again, take the Blending Brushes and the Frost White Shimmer Paint. Place a drop onto a silicone crafting mat. Dip the brush into the Shimmer Paint and gently rub across the embossed shell piece, adding as much Shimmer Paint as desired. Adhere the shell shape to the card front using dimensionals.
8. Take another scrap of Basic White cardstock and stamp the sentiment using Seaside Spray ink. Cut the sentiment out with your scissors, leaving a thin border on all sides. Adhere to the card front using dimensionals.
9. Add 3 Opal Rounds randomly to the card front.
