Garden Wishes

Garden Wishes

Dandelions are resilient – they put down roots anywhere and everywhere, they bloom wherever the winds carry them, and they survive in a broad range of climates. Just like the children of those who serve in the armed forces. The dandelion is the official flower of the military child.
I totally agree with the above. Being both a child and wife of a military member and having to move around Canada every three years, I also found it an adventure. The excitement of exploring a new city or town was the best. I love finding the little shops and restaurants that would become our favourites. Not to mention the wonderful people you meet along the way. Some stay friends forever and when you meet up again it’s like you never left. For me I seem to never forget a face. And the conversation becomes where do I know you from. I’ve been very fortunate to live in all the western provinces, Ontario and Colorado Springs.

Here’s the bits and bobs
Base 8.5” x 5.5” Scored on the longer side at 4.25”
Next layer 4”x 5.25” which is embossed.
The DSP is 2”x3”
On a piece of Very Vanilla stamp the Dandelion and bee stamp with Saddle Brown Stazon and colour  with your Write Markers. I used Mossy Meadow and Bumblebee.
With the dies cut both out using your Mini Boss (Stampin cut and emboss machine)
And this is hard to believe...that I only dimension the Dandelion, Bumblebee and sentiment!

Thank so much for stopping by.
Be sure to comment so I know that you’ve stopped by.

Cheers 🍻
