Snowflake Wishes
Here in Winnipeg we woke up to a dusting of that white stuff. Not to much like I said a dusting. Apparently the first winter storm just missed us. Cities to the west of us had receive up to 35 cms of snow!
Thinking we're in this winter for a while!
Today I'm going to share with you another Easy and Quick Christmas Card.
I'm love doing my Christmas cards the Blue Tones.
Thinking that it's because blue is a cool colour. And Winter is a little cool here in Winnipeg!
For this card I used the Snowflake Wishes bundle.
Which I think should be in every stampers collection. And you all know how much I love Bling!
I did add a few touches on this card.
The glimmer adds that touch of bling that I love.
And if that's not enough, I did add more bling with the Wink of Stella
and a couple of Rhinestones to the Snowflakes.
Here's the Bits & Bobs
All measurements are in inches
Base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Scored on the long side at 4 1/4"
Second layer is 5 1/4"x 4"
Third layer is 5" x 3 3/4" this piece is embossed with the Winter Snow Embossing folder.
You are going to need three Snowflakes from the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper.
And two Snowflakes from Whisper White.
A piece of Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper that is cut 3 1/2"x 1"
Your Sentiment will be stamped onto a piece of Whisper White that is 3 1/4"x 3/4".
I stamped the sentiment with my Night of Navy ink. And then adhered it to the Glimmer Paper using liquid glue.
Now lets put it together
Glue the Second layer onto the base.
Add some dimensionals to the backside of your embossed piece and add to the Night of Navy.
I did place dimensionals to the backside of the Snowflakes and the sentiment.
Place your sentiment where ever you like. Just to be sure you have room for your Snowflakes.
Go ahead and add your Snowflakes.
Now how easy was that! Look at that gorgeous card you just made! It's beautiful!
Thanks for join me today.
Have a wonderful day and stay healthy and safe!
Cheers
