Back on Your Feet

Back on your Feet
I was wanting to make a Get Well card for our son, after he broke his hip. And nothing I had worked for me. So I ordered the Back On Your Feet. It was a little late getting here but it made it. It’s a cute stamp set and it’s a must for any stamper.
The turtle is perfect for Kiefer cause he is basically bed ridden for about 6 weeks. There it’s into rehab for another 6 weeks.

Here’s the how to for this card.
The card base is 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” scored at 4 1/4 on 8 1/2 side.
Your Very Vanilla piece is 4” x 5 1/4” which I embossed with the Mosaic folder.
The Designer Series Paper is 4”x4”.
On the right hand side mark at  2 inches. Then with your trimmer place the DSP on an angle. One corner at the tip of the DSP and the other at the 2” mark. Like this
Now you want to trim off the top. Once you’ve done this, grab your adhesive and attach it to the Very Vanilla. Add your ribbon. I adhere it with my snail. Makes it easy to adhere.
You want to stamp your image with the Memento ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla Card Stock. Then colour with your blends.
Using the 2 7/16” circle from the Circle Dies cut out your image. Cut an additional piece from Old Olive Card Stock using the scallop dies from the circle die, that’s just a tad larger.
With your dimensionals layer your image onto scallop piece. Now place onto your card.
Aren’t you just loving your master piece!
